About The Author
Don Thompson was born in San Diego, California in 1951. He studied at the University of California, San Diego and received a degree in Applied Physics and Information Science in 1973. He then pursued a career in software development, participating in companies ranging from small startups to multinational corporations.
In 2000, Don left the corporate world to pursue his love of writing and to operate a small company dedicated to assisting seniors with personal computer challenges.
Don also enjoys music, volunteering in the Six Traits® school writing program, reading, tutoring, and boating in the Northwest. Don is a member of the Pacific Northwest Writers Association. He and his wife live on the Olympic Peninsula in Washington State.
